VIC: Fraser welcomes Branko s release
Former Prime Minister and CARE Australia chairman MALCOLM FRASER has welcomed the release
of aid worker BRANKO JELEN from a Yugoslav prison.
Mr JELEN walked free last night after nine months in gaol, receiving clemency from
Yugoslavian President SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC.
The 34-year old was arrested in March along with Australian CARE workers STEVE PRATT
and Mr WALLACE soon before NATO forces began bombing Yugoslavia.
