Fed: Successful trade meeting between Australia and Iran
Federal Trade Minister MARK VAILE says Australia's commercial links with Iran have
been strengthened in key talks between the two countries.
Mr VAILE met with Iran's Agriculture Minister ISSA KALANTARI today to discuss trade
and look at how Australia could benefit from changes to Iran's mining laws and foreign
investment regulations.
Mr VAILE says both he and Dr KALANTARI have welcomed the efforts of the Australian
finance sector to streamline commercial credit arrangements for Iran.
