NSW: Six arrested in new Gain operation
Six people have been arrested in Sydney's south west following a police crackdown on
anti-social behaviour.
The arrests were made in Auburn by 50 uniformed officers attached to Task Force Gain,
established to investigate gun violence in Sydney's south west.
The six men, aged between 18 to 23, have been charged with a variety of offences, including
assaulting police, resisting arrest, intimidation and hindering police.
One man has been refused bail and will appear in Burwood Local Court today.
Previous such operations have targeted drug distribution in Liverpool, illegal firearms
in Bankstown and anti-social behaviour in Brighton Le Sands.
