Compost meets the Web

A proliferation of information doesn't always mean quality. This review of current sites points browsers hunting for the scoop in compost in the right direction.

RECENT online computer search for "composting" on the graphical section of the Internet known as the World Wide Web (WWW) produced 7,529 "hits" on the first pass. Alk though that is still a relatively minuscule amount in Web terms - a similar search for "recycling" produced 103,465 hits - it illustrates one of the difficulties with the information overload produced by this evolving technology.
