FED:Company tax cut to cost $3.1bn:Greens
The Greens say the federal government's proposed cut to the corporations tax would
cost taxpayers $3.1 billion.
Greens MP ADAM BANDT says treasury documents show the planned one per cent cut in company
tax cut should not go ahead as it's another example of the government caving into big
companies.
Treasurer WAYNE SWAN has said the government would be making cuts to the next commonwealth
budget to be handed down on May 10.
The projected deficit for 2010/11 of $41.5 billion is expected to be worse following
a drop in revenue from natural disasters .. both here and abroad.
